Zayed University Abu Dhabi welcomed British Deputy Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Alistair Burt, who delivered a lecture that tackled the "Recent Developments within North Africa and the Middle East" to ZU students, faculty and staff. Alistair shed light on the relations between the UAE and Britain, mentioning that the UAE currently houses over 100,000 British citizens. Present were Dr Suleiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, British Ambassador to UAE Dominic Jeremy, the delegation accompanying the Deputy British minister, and other officials.
