Constance Van Horne, Zeng-Yu Huang and Mouawiya Al Awad

Arising from this motivation, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2011 UAE report is to assist in drawing up an Entrepreneurship Policy Framework, which provides the background and supporting information to the national entrepreneurship policy and strategy. The 2011 report reveals levels of entrepreneurial activity in the UAE that may provide a very good starting point from which the country can progress to join the ranks of the elite group of the most innovative, entrepreneurial nations in the world
