Dress Code
The university expects all employees to wear appropriate business attire during normal hours of operation, and when representing the university, to project a positive professional image to peers, students, visitors, and the external community. Employees should use common sense and good judgment to wear culturally appropriate business attire to reflect a professional and neat appearance and apply a dress practice conducive to university’s working environment.
Formal Attire
Access to any official and business buildings in the U.A.E. may be denied if dress code is considered inappropriate. When on campus, faculty and staff should present a professional appearance at all times. The dress code is as follows:

Female employees are expected to wear formal pants/trousers or dresses/skirts, which are on or below the knee. Blouses or jackets, which cover the arms to the elbow, are appropriate.

Male employees are expected to wear formal pants/trousers, business shirts (long-sleeved when the weather permits) with a tie. Preferably jackets should be worn when the weather permits, although they do not have to be worn throughout the day. Sandals are not appropriate with male western business attire.
