Welcome to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS), where our team’s knowledge and expertise come together to produce competitive graduates, ready to join a dynamic workforce and serve their country.

Our flagship undergraduate program, the BA in International Studies, which attracts large numbers of students every year, prepares learners for a prosperous career, to excel in multiple areas of employment across the private and public sectors. Their acquired skills in global analysis, research, and critical thinking prepare them to succeed in consultancy, policy analysis, and research, as well as in diplomacy and foreign service, to name a few opportunities.

CHSS’s two Master’s programs provide graduates and mid-career professionals with an opportunity to specialize and move forward and upward in their academic and career trajectories. Our MA in Diplomacy and International Affairs deepens postgraduates’ understanding of global politics, current affairs, and public diplomacy, while our MA in Legal and Judicial Studies arms students with a strong knowledge of public and private laws and provides thorough training in conflict resolution and mediation, among other skills.

Our college boasts a team of faculty and staff with varied cultural and academic backgrounds that enrich CHSS’s diverse environment and provide students with a great experience of intellectual exchanges with educators from around the globe.

At CHSS, we make sure students combine theoretical and classroom education with hands-on experience through a comprehensive internship program that immerses the learner in the workplace environment for a whole semester. This training helps students decide where they see themselves after graduation.
