Welcome to the College of Technological Innovation!
The College of Technological Innovation (CTI) prepares graduates who are globally recognized for their expertise in the innovative application of engineering and information technology. We equip them with a comprehensive, forward-looking education valued by employers in the UAE, the Gulf region, and worldwide. Furthermore, CTI is committed to building a robust applied research program focused on emerging technologies, specifically addressing the unique IT and engineering challenges and opportunities of the Gulf region.
The College offers a robust portfolio of degrees designed to build in-demand skills. At the undergraduate level, we provide Bachelor of Science programs in Information Technology, Intelligent Systems Engineering, and a joint program with the College of Business in Information Systems & Technology Management. For graduate studies, we offer Master of Science degrees in both Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation and Innovation. Furthermore, we collaborate with the Colleges of Art & Creative Enterprises and Communication & Media Sciences on a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Design. All our programs feature concentrations focused on cutting-edge technologies, empowering our graduates to make significant contributions to their employers and the nation.
The College ensures the quality of its curriculum through national and international accreditation. All degree programs are accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). In addition, the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Technology Management hold specialized accreditation from the ABET Computing Accreditation Commission, a globally recognized standard for computing and applied science education (www.abet.org).
The College of Technological Innovation (CTI) at Zayed University is a hub of academic excellence driven by a distinguished faculty of leading researchers and practitioners. At the core of its mission is a focus on Technology and Engineering, with faculty leveraging AI and machine learning to pioneer solutions across a vast spectrum of modern technology. This foundational AI expertise powers cutting-edge research in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and blockchain to address evolving threats, and enables the intelligent systems at the heart of smart cities and the Internet of Things (IoT), utilizing wireless sensor networks and sustainable computing. In the data-driven economy, this translates into advanced work in data science, big data analytics, business intelligence, information retrieval, and knowledge management. Further specializations, such as cloud and mobile computing, software engineering, web services, image processing, computer vision, and speech processing, are all advanced through AI-driven methodologies, with significant applied research in enterprise systems, supply chain management, and management information systems. This dynamic, AI-infused research environment directly fuels the curriculum with real-world relevance. Beyond pedagogy, CTI’s faculty are pivotal contributors to the global scientific community, shaping discourse through editorial roles in premier journals and leadership on technical committees for international conferences, thereby strengthening the college's reputation as a premier institution for nurturing the next generation of technology innovators in the UAE and beyond.
