Zayed University student Maryam Al Abdool combines academic and professional excellence, being on Zayed Scholars’ list and an active contributor in valuable Zayed University student activities and initiatives.
Some of Maryam’s remarkable achievements are:
Representing the UAE at the Young Leaders Forum which took place in Riyadh, KSA in 2008, where she gave a talk in the presence of His Excellency Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud;
Representing the UAE at the 2nd international Universities Arabic Debating Championship” in Doha, Qatar;
Earning a recognition for her participation in the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development;
Earning the first rank in the “Young Entrepreneur” competition; and
Taking part in the Women as Global Leaders conference at Zayed University in 2012.
Maryam is also heading the Arabic Language club at Zayed University, and is one of the ZU PALs who offer guidance and mentorships to other Zayed University students. Maryam just earned a Leadership Diploma from Oxford University, and her successful path so far promises of a brilliant future ahead.
