Bio

Amal El Ahmad is a Cyber Security Instructor at the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University in Dubai, UAE.

She received a Full Scholarship from H.H Sheik Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which afforded her the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Abu Dhabi University's esteemed College of Engineering and Computer Science. Graduating as one of the Honor students with CUM LAUDE.

She achieved high distinction in Cyber Security with a Master's degree from Zayed University. This accomplishment, coupled with the accolades from her undergraduate studies, solidified her dedication to excellence in the field.

With a career spanning approximately 14 years, she has actively contributed to the IT landscape within government agencies and reputable companies in the UAE.

In addition, she has experience teaching many courses and labs in the field of information technology and security at University of Wollongong in Dubai like Database, Data Management, Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence for Cyber security. Her diverse skill set encompasses teaching, scientific research, lab assistance, cyber security, system support, analytical thinking, management, and creative problem-solving. She has continuously enhanced her expertise through certifications, training, and courses such as Penetration Test & Advanced Hacking Tech, Advanced Cyber Forensics, Information Security Management, Forensic Analysis of Smart Phones Project, and Network Penetration Testing Project. She obtained Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Certificate when she was trained at Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO).
