Dr. Maher Abur-rous is an associate professor (Adjunct) in the College of Technological Innovation, Computing & Applied Technology at Zayed University, UAE. He has more than 25 Years of experience in teaching, industry and research. Prior to joining ZU, he was an Associate Professor/ Chair, Information, Network and Computer Security (INCS) - Faculty of Engineering and Computing Sciences, Chair of Cybersecurity Master Program, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Assistant professor, College of Engineering, American University of Sharjah (AUS), Sharjah, UAE. Faculty Professor, Higher Colleges of Technology, Faculty of Computer Information Science, RAK-UAE. Assistant Professor, Academic chair of Software Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, ALHosn University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Assistant Professor/Researcher, Internet Technology Department, College of Information Technology, Zarqa University, Jordan. Head of Information Technology Department (Cybersecurity Core Banking Projects Manager) at Jordan Ahli Bank, Amman, Jordan. He has a long industry experience especially in the financial/banking sectors. He was a Project Manager/ System Engineer Administrator and IT supervisor for many of the IT infrastructures and core banking digital security services at Jordan Ahli Bank for more than 15 years covering all its local and international branches all over the world. He has many professional training certificates, such as MCSE, PMP, CEH, CCNA, ACE.
