Senior Instructor
2009, M.A. in Humanities (Philological Sciences), University of Nis, Serbia
Bio
I have worked in a diverse field of ELT for over 25 years.
In Higher Education I worked for: - Union University, Faculty of Law and Business Studies, Serbia; Senior Instructor; 2015 – 2023 - Australian College of Kuwait, Kuwait, Instructor and Academic Coordinator; 2008 – 2009 - European University, Cyprus; Instructor; 2005 – 2006
I also worked as an ESP Instructor for Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Chevron (2006 – 2008). While in Kuwait, I worked for the British Council as an EFL Instructor and English Oral Examiner for IGCSEs.
Back in Serbia, I worked as a teacher trainer for the Ministry of Education, Serbia, (2003 – 2005) and a pilot teacher for the British publisher Pearson Longman (2001 – 2006).
I believe that “we teach who we are” and that the role of a teacher is to ‘guide and inspire’. That is why our profession is a special one. We cannot do it without putting ourselves out there. We address different personalities, we become part of different people’s lives – it makes us so responsible.
