Survey Anonymity and Confidentiality
The confidentiality of survey data is of paramount importance, below is a description of an Anonymous Survey and a Confidential Survey institutionally administered by IR.
Anonymous or Public Surveys: Responses to anonymous surveys cannot be traced back to the respondent. No personally identifiable information is captured unless personal information is voluntarily offered in the comment fields. Responses are combined with those of many others and summarized in a report to further protect your anonymity.
(note: respondents can respond more than one time by using different device (PC, laptop, tablets, and the like; and respondents’ demographics cannot be traced).
Authenticated or Confidential Surveys: Personal identifiable information are captured from the datasource that may be combined with existing data for analysis. No personally identifiable information will be reported unless personal information is voluntarily offered in the comment fields.
