Dubai, UAE, June 21st : Hessa Almansoori, Administrative Assistant for the College of Communication and Media Sciences (CCMS), is recognized for her outstanding achievements in the Customer Happiness Diploma organized by the UAE, Ministry of Interior. She has been presented with two awards at the virtual graduation ceremony attended by Her Excellency Noura Bint Mohamed Al Kaabi– Minister of Culture and Youth and President of Zayed University and Dr. Khalid M. AlKhazraji – Vice President of Zayed University, on 20th June 2021.
First, Hessa has been awarded as one of the top ten participating students completing the Customer Happiness Diploma. This is based on participation during lectures; high performance in three international exams and collaborative teamwork. She came tenth out of a total of 188 participants taking part in the diploma overall.
Second, Hessa’s project took first place out of 33 projects and is one of the top five overall that were submitted to the Ministry of Interior. The innovative project proposal is an application called Mostaqbali which is Arabic for ‘my future.’
Mostaqbali is a smart platform for local and international universities and colleges accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education. The application seeks to resolve the dauting task facing students who must select an accredited university and appropriate specialization for a future career that tallies with UAE key employment sectors. As a smartphone application it can be accessed anywhere, anytime. An integrated artificial intelligence system carries out predictive analysis of all students’ educational and personal documents to align them with the best-fit university and specialization options.
CCMS faculty are delighted by Hessa’s achievements. Dr. Dwight E. Brooks, Dean of CCMS, recognizes Hessa’s growth mindset, work ethic and drive. Dr. Zoe Hurley, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, says that she is grateful for all Hessa’s administrative endeavors, collegial qualities, and sheer creativity.
