Cultural Consultant Ali Al Saloom visits Zayed University

In its efforts to support the “Absher” initiative, Zayed University hosted, Emirati author and cultural consultant Ali Al Saloom on its Abu Dhabi campus, in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA), Eithad Airways, Occidental Petroleum Corporation, the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and Zayed University students, faculty and staff.

Throughout his talk, Al Saloom shed light on the importance of harvesting experience while growing up, and staying assertive and determined in order to fulfill one’s aspirations. He shared highlights from his experience in the hospitality industry, and described his adventure in the United States where he developed his English and leadership skills, before returning to the UAE and climbing up the professional ladder gradually to become not only an expert in his field of interest, and an entrepreneur who shares his learning and experiences, but also a representative of the UAE in his area of expertise in both the local and international arenas.

Al Saloom had a very fruitful discussion with students whereby he offered his support and guidance to Zayed University students who have a developed concept of a potential start-up in mind.
