H.H Sheika Fatima – Mother of the Nation - Hall is designed to international class specifications, the venue allows for full acoustic performances and is comparable to many of the opera houses around the world in its acoustic properties.

The venue has full stage rigging to allow for safe moving of lighting, scenery and theatrical curtains.  The 54 manual and electric fly bars within the rigging system allow for the hanging of additional temporary draping or lighting. 

With its orchestra pit and 4 hydraulic stage risers this is the perfect venue for large orchestral performances but equally lends itself to film screenings, press conferences and large corporate presentations.

The electric bars, curtains, screen and stage risers are all controlled via a scene control console from back stage.  

The projector is 3 chip DLP digital of 20,000 lumens and the screen at 18m wide is micro perforated and therefore suitable for cinematic screenings.

In addition the venue is equipped with simultaneous translation booths, a full control room with sound and lighting desks, ample loading in facilities, dressing rooms and a drivers room.

Liwa Arena is divisible into 2 sections; both areas have multi way projection and two screens in each to allow projection in 2 directions. 

Meeting rooms: All 22 meeting rooms have a ceiling mounted projector and smart board, some with additional plasma screens for extra viewing.  The 4 boardrooms all have plasmas that connect directly to a laptop and also offer video conferencing.

On site technicians are available to assist with your enquiries pre event, they are also able to work with your team during or for an additional fee can run your event from start to finish subject to your requirements.

We also have equipment available for hire including photocopiers, printers, laptops and other AV and IT equipment.

The Convention Center has wireless internet installed through all three levels.
