•    Zayed University Convention Center Abu Dhabi has been nominated at the 2013 Business Destination Travel Award in the category of “ Best Academic Venue for Corporate Events – Middle East “.

•    Muhammed Ali’s daughter Laila Ali give a motivational and inspirational speech to coincide with the Inspirational Women of Fitness event taking place over a number of days in the capital.

February 2013

•    The Pink Caravan ended its 10 day journey across the Emirates at Zayed University Abu Dhabi.  The horses and riders were greeted by local dignitaries in the courtyard and then they all enjoyed a lunch in the Liwa Arena.

•    Zayed University  hosted  in association with the Abu Dhabi Documentary Film Club and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development the premier film screening of “ Island President” in the HH Sheikha Fatima – Mother of the Nation Hall March.

•    HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak – Mother of the Nation officially opened the new Zayed University Abu Dhabi campus and Convention Centre
