Tuition fees for Expat / International Students
Tuition fees for international undergraduate students is AED 2,500 per credit hour.

In addition to external sponsorship, Zayed University offers financial support in the form of scholarships – these are a limited number - at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester to eligible, self-funding international students in its undergraduate programs in the form of:
- Undergraduate Merit Scholarship (President’s Award and Academic Merit Scholarship)
- Undergraduate Family Grant
- Undergraduate Tuition Fee Discount for Children of ZU Employees
Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
1) Zayed University is committed to offer merit-based scholarships to outstanding international undergraduate students.

The number of international students who may be awarded scholarships will be calculated at 10% of the total number of UAE Nationals enrolled in undergraduate programs at the university in any given academic year.
2) Scholarship applications are reviewed by the Admissions and Outreach Committee before being forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for review and endorsement. The Scholarship Committee will submit its recommendations to the Provost, or designee, for review and endorsement. Upon the Provost’s recommendation, the Vice-President, or designee, retains the authority to make the final decision regarding all academic scholarship awards.

4) Application
In order to be considered for the merit-based scholarship, students must:
- Complete and submit the scholarship application form with all supporting documents
- Submit a reference letter from their most recent school with their application.
- Submit a completed application before the published date. No late submissions will be considered.
5) Fulfilling the eligibility requirements and applying for an Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is not a guarantee that the student will be granted a scholarship by the university.
6) Award Coverage
The scholarship will cover the full tuition fees, but will not cover additional costs such as laptop, food, housing, or transport.
7) Maintaining the Award
President's Award
- Students must earn a minimum CGPA of 3.6.
- Students must maintain the minimum enrollment requirement for their academic program.
- Students must not have any disciplinary issues.
Academic Merit Scholarship
- Students must earn a minimum CGPA of 3.3.
- Students must maintain the minimum enrollment requirement for their academic program.
- Students must not have any disciplinary issues.
Undergraduate Family Grant

Eligibility
Zayed University provides the Undergraduate Family Grant for families that have more than one son/daughter enrolled in Zayed University undergraduate programs. The Undergraduate Family Grant includes a tuition discount of 25% for each sibling after the first and cannot be stacked with another major award.

Conditions for maintaining the Undergraduate Family Grant:
- Students must maintain the minimum enrollment requirement for their academic program.
- Students must not have any disciplinary issues.
Undergraduate Tuition Fee Discount for Children of ZU Employees

Eligibility
Zayed University will provide a 50% tuition fee discount to all children of ZU administrators, faculty, and staff on regular contracts if those children are enrolled in any of ZU’s undergraduate programs. Employees’ children will lose this benefit once their parent’s regular contract employment at the university has ended.

Maintaining the Award
Conditions for maintaining the Undergraduate Tuition Fee Discount:
- Students must maintain the minimum enrollment requirement for their academic program.
- Students must not have any disciplinary issues.
- The student's parent must be on a regular, full-time employment contract at Zayed University.

Tuition fees Sponsored Students
International students who are sponsored by an external authority should pay the due amount in full, by the end of the first week of the semester.

If full fees cannot be paid immediately, installments can be arranged with the Financial Services Department as follows:

Recovering Monies
Zayed University reserves the right to recover monies paid if the recipient:
- receives other financial support,
- withdraws from their academic program,
- takes leave from the university, or
- is dismissed from the university for academic or other reasons.
Financial Aid
Zayed University provides its students with a number of financial support opportunities. These opportunities are exclusively focused on supporting students whose financial conditions may prevent them from continuing their university education. The Student Support Unit receives the applications and ensures that any support given is in compliance with the university’s rules and regulations. Financial support decisions are taken according to strict guidelines and availability of resources.
