Outreach, SAS students and Accessibility PALs will be going around both campuses with iPads to encourage students to fill in the Learning disability screening form and disseminate promotional material to ZU students that will encourage them to get tested themselves or speak the word on learning disabilities to encourage other students to get tested for LD by SAS department.

LD screening stations will be available on locations in both campuses during the ZU common break where SAS Specialists will be performing the LD screening and answering questions related to LD for ZU population on the panel activity day.

Announcement/Brochures/Promotional Material Production

SAS students and staff will be distributing promotional material on SAS services to students via campus announcement and produced brochures amongst other items to support the campaign efforts.

Different social media content will be produced by students and media department to encourage ZU students signing the ""1000 voices charter"" in support of learning disability early detection. The videos and interviews captured in previous activities will be shared on social media accounts.

Storytelling for Non-Profit Organizations

Daytime - 1:30pm

This is a hands-on workshop to train ZU students to learn the basics of creative storytelling, and to write a story about a non-profit (voluntary) organization in the UAE that they wish to work at, or support. This is part of the bigger project to create or re-create a multi-platform corporate identity for any non-profit organization. This skill can be especially useful for students who wish to work in corporate communication, fundraising, marketing, and management.

CIS Student Life (Partner Challenge)

Partner Challenge Sprint

Students are given a partner challenge question to research and create a presentation on within a fixed time frame. existing partnerships to be utilised to provide a challenge from the public setcor GDRFA (DNRD) , the private retail sector (noon) and Private Tech company (Oracle).  Presentations will be submitted and judged in a competition format with prizes awarded to the best presentations.

 Outreach students and Media department will work on one video related to Learning disability awareness raising featuring students with LD (or students actors to show LD students struggles) that touches the emotional struggle a student with LD is experiencing and then the same student overcoming this struggle with ZU support and empowerment. the video will be screened in the panel discussion event, social media and SAS channel.

Outreach students will work on an animation video for a fictional story on a ""a Day in the Life of a student with Dyslexia"" to be screened in Dubai campus through the month and on social media.
