Bio
Malina-Nicoleta is a Community Specialist, part of the Student Life Team at Zayed University. Passionate about community development and student holistic wellness, she oversees the community programs to connect students through culture and provide a space for students to tell their personal stories, whilst promoting well-being.
Over the past 5 years, Malina-Nicoleta has delivered value at the intersection of student success, mental health, project management and entrepreneurship. A few of her successful projects include the development of the NYU Scholars platform, Women in Network initiatives, and progressing the diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda in the UAE’s higher education space. Additionally, she is the founder of a corporate wellness start-up that aims to encourage organisational change and positive work-life balance culture across the MENA region.
Having studied and worked across Abu Dhabi, New York, Athens and London, Malina-Nicoleta graduated with honors from New York University Abu Dhabi with a BA in Economics and is currently pursuing a MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
