Well-being Ambassadors (WA) Program

ZU

The Well-being Ambassadors (WA) Program is a compassionate initiative aimed at building a supportive, inclusive, and mentally healthy campus community. Through training and empowerment, the program equips students to actively promote mental health awareness and accessibility across campus.

Participants receive hands-on experience in peer-to-peer support, gaining practical skills to guide events, share valuable resources, and foster student well-being. Core training includes Basic Psychological Support, Suicide Prevention, and active engagement in workshops and campus-wide initiatives.

The program prioritizes mental health accessibility, stigma reduction, and community connection. By encouraging open conversations around mental health and creating a culture of care, Well-being Ambassadors help normalize support-seeking behaviors and strengthen the student network.

In addition to promoting mental wellness, the WA Program also supports personal and professional development, preparing students to be proactive leaders in both campus life and beyond.
