COS Funding Opportunities

The Community of Science (COS) Funding Opportunities is an international database which enables faculty to locate grants and funding opportunities world-wide.

It is a comprehensive source of research funding, with more than 22,000 records, representing over 400,000 funding opportunities, worth over $33 billion. Identify funding information as it relates to research, collaborative activities, travel, curriculum development, conferences, fellowships, post-doctoral positions, equipment acquisition, operating and capital expenses, and more.

COS maintains a list of grants in all disciplines (not just science) and includes international sources. It also provides opportunities for project collaboration between researchers based at other institutions world-wide.

ZU faculty members may set up a 'workbench' to create individual funding accounts via a ZU IP address or set up 'alerts' in their subject areas. Training will be made available, or you may contact the ZU Library or the Office of Research for further assistance.
NOTE: Be sure to set your 'Activity Area' as 'United Arab Emirates' to find appropriate grants for your location.
