Zayed University held two massive events in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses to mark the UAE’s 46th National Day celebrations.

Both events were attended by Prof. Dr. Reyadh AlMehaideb, Vice-President of Zayed University, Dr. Marilyn Roberts, University Provost, Dr. Fatima Al Darmaki, Assistant Provost for Student Affairs, Fathiya AlKhamiri Acting Director for Student Leadership, alongside many faculty members, university staff, and the students.

Both campus was adorned with UAE flags, and filled with diverse activities prepared by the students who portrayed warmth and dedication to their beloved country.

The festivities began with the UAE’s national anthem at the central courtyard of both campuses, followed by folkloric shows, poetry, national music and traditional dances.
The event also included activities for female students including pictures of Sheikh Zayed as seen by robots, live presentations of calligraphy, a lecture on entrepreneurship in the UAE by Omar Al Busaidy, and much more.


The event also included a special cavalry march around the ZU Dubai campus, which presented live demonstrations of expressing loyalty and devotion to the wise leadership.

Students' showcased during their partake traditional costumes, explained deep-rooted games, crafted henna, and offered traditional folk foods.
