Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, received Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance and President of Zayed University. Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna was accompanied by a group of academic and administrative women professionals at Zayed University.

H.H. Sheikha Al Yazia Bint Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and a number of female ministers attended the meeting.

Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna praised Her Highness Sheikha Fatima's keenness to closely uphold the progress of educational institutions in the UAE and support them through her generous initiatives that enhance efforts aiming at developing educational performance levels in the country.

Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna reiterated the fact that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima is keen on communicating with youth and transferring her thoughts, visions and noble values regarding educating youth. She added that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima emphasized the importance of exerting efforts to prepare an innovative and creative generation, noting the importance of reading and boosting students' activities.

Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna also said that “Her Highness Sheikha Fatima called on us to support students with disabilities and provide them with the educational setting that allows them to be more involved with their colleagues and well as play a pioneering role in the society.

She also hailed the experience of the Khalaf Al Habtoor and Humaid Matar Al Tayer Assistive Technology Resource Centers, noting that Emirati women have occupied the highest posts thanks to the unwavering and wise support of our leaders.
