Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Cooperation, President of Zayed University has signed an agreement on the establishment of the Sheikha Latifa Bint Hamdan Al Maktoum Center for Student Activities at Zayed University.



Inked at Zayed University’s campus in Dubai, His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, Director of the office of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and member of the board of trustees of Al Maktoum Foundation, signed on behalf of Al Maktoum Foundation. The agreement aims to encourage students to work on their personal development and instill in them the value of time management. The signing ceremony was witnessed by a number of officials and Zayed University faculty and staff members.


Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna emphasized the importance of establishing the students’ center to create positive communication channels amongst students and help them innovate and be more involved in the developmental process of the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates.



Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna also praised the initiative of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, and the support it is offering Zayed University to prepare qualified graduates who will be active contributors to the wellbeing of their community.
