Zayed University celebrated the national joy of the Flag Day on both its campuses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in line with the directives of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who called on UAE nationals and residents to raise the flag as of December 2nd and until the UAE’s Union Day.

All federal and local government entities across the country raised the flag at precisely the same time on Wednesday 6 November at 12:00 noon, as a show of unity under one banner.

Zayed University students, faculty, and staff were all present on both campuses on the day and shared the joy of raising the flag and recalled the souls of those who raised this flag 42 years ago. It is only through hard work, determination and sacrifice that the UAE flag, the symbol of unity, is seen fluttering in international gatherings representing this beloved nation.
