His Excellency Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Head of the Supervising Committee over the endowment fund at Zayed University, unveiled the University’s Careers Spotlight 2013  on Dubai campus last Tuesday, in the presence of Mr. Juma Khalifa Al Naboodah, Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, Dr. Larry Wilson, Provost of Zayed University, and a number of Zayed University officials, faculty, staff, students and alumni.

The event, which aimed at informing Zayed University students and alumni about employment opportunities in the UAE witnessed a massive participation of over  60 employers, spread across both the public and private sectors. Participating employers came from different industries including Banking and Finance, IT, Marketing, Management, Education, Media and Communication amongst others.

Over 70 job interviews were held during the event, and 30% of the interviewees were offered jobs with the region’s top employers who were present.
