The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyeb said Zayed University has the adequate resources to make a scientific, academic and cultural breakthrough in the UAE.



''Zayed University will serve as a role model for other higher institutions in the Arab World,'' he added, during his visit to Zayed University’s iconic Abu Dhabi Campus.


The grand Sheikh of Al Azhar was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Hadef bin Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice, and Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State, and Zayed Uviersity President, Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, and Tamer Mansour, Ambassador of Egypt in the UAE, along with a number of Zayed University senior officials.



Sheikh Ahmed Al Tayyeb said he was impressed with the world-class facilities and equipment he had seen at the campus.
