Zayed University organizes orientation week for new students

Zayed University launched the “Ya Hala” orientation week today, September 2nd, on both Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. The two-day orientation program is expected to welcome over 3,000 female and male students, as well as their parents and/or guardians.

Her Excellency Dr. Maitha AlShamsi, Minister of State and President of Zayed University, reiterated Zayed University’s firm commitment to ensuring students’ academic and professional success, enhancing their creative and interpersonal skillset, and enabling them to become active contributors to the UAE community. Her Highness also added that the academic programs offered by Zayed University are of high international standards and always in tune with the students’ academic goals and the community’s needs.

The “Ya Hala” week, held annually before the beginning of the new academic year, aims to introduce new students to Zayed University’s student life and academic information, in order for them to smoothly transition to Zayed University’s new and exciting academic and cultural setting. The first semester of the new academic year is expected to commence on September 8.
