HE Sheikh Nahayan signs agreement to set up Sheikh Salem bin Ham Al Amri Professorship in Islamic Legal Theory at Zayed University.

Present were Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Head of the Supervising Committee over the endowment fund at Zayed University, Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, Safia Al Raqbani, Chief Development and External Affairs Officer, and other officials.

Sheikh Nahayan highlighted the role of societal sessions, institutions, corporations and public figures in contribution to supporting the endowment fund of Zayed University, which was set up to further develop the educational performance.



He added that the contribution to the fund would reflect positively on the efforts of Zayed University in the scientific research that would allow it to keep pace with the latest technological developments and community service. 




Sheikh Nahayan added that the UAE leadership is keen on developing different levels of education, innovation, creativity and initiatives, which support that end. 



"The idea of setting up the endowment fund comes within the framework of Zayed University to become an international prestigious university that attracts institutions, corporations and dignitaries", he said, indicating that "such a solidarity reflects genuine national sense and represents a natural partnership between Zayed University and community as well."
