His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan attends the first Zayed University Alumni Reunion

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of Zayed University,  recently attended the Zayed University Alumni Reunion in  celebration of the 10th Graduation Anniversary of the first Zayed University Cohort 2002 in the new Abu Dhabi Campus. His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan reiterated the commitment of Zayed University to fully support its graduates, whether through graduate programs, or by inviting them to take part in various events and activities, and also urged them to maintain open and healthy communication channels with current Zayed University students, to offer their mentorship and advice as needed, and most importantly to continue to be Zayed University ambassadors in their community.

Amongst the attendees were: Sheikha Mozah bint Mabarak Al Nahayan, Sheikha Ousha bint Mabarak Al Nahayan, Honorary President of the Zayed University Alumni Association, Sheikha Shamma bint Khalifa Bin Hamdan Al Nahayan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Zayed University Alumni Association. Also Present were Mr. Saeed Almeqbali,  Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, Dr. Larry Wilson, Provost of Zayed  University, Shamsaa al-Tai, director of the Alumni Association, and a number of graduates and mothers.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan commended the keenness of graduates graduates to maintain a strong bond with the university, indicating that the Alumni Reunion is yet another “renwed” confirmation of  the essential and fundamental unity spirit that has differentiate Zayed University from the very beginning. 

Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, also expressed his appreciation for the patronage that  H.E Sheikh Nahayan incessantly offers the Alumni Association, mentioning that Zayed University has proudly graduated 4209 students who have had so many achievements in the past decade, and is looking forward to prepare more graduates to be active contributors in their families and community.
