Zayed University’s campuses in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi dedicated the day to offer their thanks and gratitude for 40 years of unity in the U.A.E . His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of Zayed University, and Vice President Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Authority of Culture and Arts, on Dubai campus . A number of activities were organized throughout the day. Students and faculty were dressed in traditional clothing and a heritage village was set up in the Atrium where precious Emirati handmade art crafts, foods, music, dance and poetry were exhibited.
