-  Al Habtoor: the chair aims to enhance research in business risk management

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of Zayed University, and His Excellency Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor signed an endowment agreement to establish the “Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Chair in Business Sciences” at Zayed University.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan said “investment in endowments to enhance academic education, demonstrates the importance of collaboration between the private and public sectors to address the dynamic challenges of the future and to advance our society".

Sheikh Nahayan praised Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor's generosity and vision for establishing a Chair in Business Sciences at Zayed University. He further noted Al Habtoor's honorable deed set a high precedent, which encouraged the ideas of charitable giving and community engagement in the UAE. 

According to Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, it is his express desire for the Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Chair in Business Sciences to focus on risk management to promote academic research among students and scholars in the businesses sciences disciplines to benefit major companies in the UAE.
