Zayed University hosted many honored guests at its annual Convocation on 23rd September, 2010. H.E. Juma Al Majid along with many other generous donors were recognized by H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of Zayed University, for their support to the Student Financial Aid Fund. The theme of this year's Convocation was 'International and Global Partnerships' as the university outlined its intentions to develop local, regional and global partnerships to further advance the university's role in becoming a leading university in the region. H.E. Sheikh Nahayan delivered an address at the Convocation, as did the Vice President, Dr Sulaiman Al Jassim and the Provost, Dr Dan Johnson. The guest speaker was Soraya Salti, Senior Vice President MENA, INJAZ al-Arab and Junior Achievement Worldwide.
