Zayed University Organized a Media Appreciation Ceremony

Under the patronage and presence of Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, Zayed University organized an appreciation ceremony for media specialists from various fields of the media who have cooperated in covering the events and activities of Zayed University in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ceremony was also attended by a number of faculty and staff of Zayed University.
The theme of the ceremony was "One Goal", which portrays the importance of cooperation and communication between the university and the different corporations in order to achieve a similar goal.
Dr. Al Jassim expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the members of the press. He stressed on the importance of enhancing the partnership between the university and other organizations and the role the media plays in supporting projects and initiatives. Dr. Al Jassim presented the many initiatives initiated by Zayed University throughout the academic year under the support of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, President of Zayed University. These initiatives include establishing the Bin Hamoodah Endowed Chair in Public Health, establishing the first e-research lab, and organizing a number of conferences and lectures, including the Abu Dhabi International Sculpture Symposium, which attracted famous artists from around the world. The university has signed several agreements with a number of recognized organizations from across the country as well as signing memorandum of understanding with international universities.
Zayed University will be receiving 200 new students in the coming academic year in its campuses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, both national and international. The university will also open the "International College", the first of its kind in the Middle East, which will offer courses in international relations and sociology, among others.
