Under the Patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, President of Zayed University, the Senior Art & Design Exhibition of the College of Arts & Sciences, Zayed University, was launced at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), in the presence of Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim - Vice President of the University.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan expressed his appreciation of students' innovations in this Senior Art Exhibition and also pointed out that Zayed University is committed to the highest standards of education in all specializations so as to meet the great expectations and concerns of the community and employment sectors' requirements. Meanwhile, His Excellency expressed his impression of the students' enthusiasm and their skillful and successful presentations in this exhibition which really reflects the academic and educational standards of education offered by Zayed University and the high reputation achieved through its rapid and continued progress.

On his part, Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University, was quite impressed by this Exhibition and said that the high standards of students' production certainly demonstrate the level of their education and specialization during the years they spent gaining this high academic standard whereby they have had exceptional opportunities to excel in their achievements and personal creativity.  

On her part, Safia Saeed Al Raqbani, Director of Development, Zayed University, said that this Exhibition shows how keen the students are to showcase their skillful and creative manifestation of the specializations which they have successfully gained through their academic studies.  She also emphasized the strong relation between the students' Capstone Projects and their national affiliation.  Safia added that this Exhibition improves and preserves the national identity of the students, especially through their personal touches reflected in their involvement with national and international activities.

On the other hand, Janet Bellotto, Assistant Chair of Art and Design, College of Arts & Sciences - Zayed University Dubai Campus said that this year, four specializations of Art & Design showcase the "Capstone Projects" of 30 students from our Campus.  Furthermore, a slideshow of projects from 14 students from the Abu Dhabi Campus are also highlighted.  The exhibits concentrate on Animation, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Visual Art.
