Members of the Zayed University (ZU) has recently received Her Excellency Rina Harun, Minister of Women’s Affairs, Family and Community Development - Malaysia, during a recent visit by her and her accompanying delegation to the university campus in Dubai.

The visit initiated with an introductory session, during which Prof. Clayton MacKenzie, University Provost, presented an overview the internationally accreditated academic programs and extracurricular activities. He also share inputs about the university’s advanced rankings in the QS World University Rankings 2022 and informed Her Excellency that Zayed University is working to provide the appropriate academic environment, to expand scientific research cooperation with other universities, and improve the overall educational experience.

After the session, a tour took place around the ZU Dubai campus, starting with the Students Accessibility Services (SAS) Department, to learn about the latest Assistive Technology Resources to Support the Learning of Students of Determination.

The tour also included a stop by the (du) Digital Media Center, which is operated by the College of Communications and Media Sciences (CCMS), Her Excellency and the accompanying delegation were briefed about the media activities carried out by the students through the center, which includes imaging equipment, film montage, photo printing, latest media technologies, journalism and social media efficiently.

The tour concluded with a visit to the Digital Manufacturing Workshop, which is operated by the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises (CACE), which contains innovative educational tools to enhance students practical learning.

At the end of the visit, both ends exchanged souvenirs and took memorable photographs.
