Zayed University celebrated the UAE Flag Day on both campuses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, commemorating the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan as the president of the UAE.

Dr. Hind Al-Rustamani, Assistant Provost for Student Affairs, raised the UAE Flag at the Abu Dhabi campus while Mr. Sadek Al-Mulla, Chief of Administration& Finance Officer raised it in Dubai.

The ceremony welcomed a symbolic presence of faculty members, staff and students, in compliance with the precaution procedures, taken by the government to protect the country from the spread of Covid-19.   All cheered in joy and happiness following the UAE’s National Anthem.

The national campaign was launched in 2013 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to honor the country’s past, present and future.
