The following instructions have been provided to assist students prior to their move into the residence facility. Please read the information carefully and contact us for any further clarifications at StudentResidences@zu.ac.ae. (one- of our team members will revert to your query within 24hours)
Items provided in your room/floor:
Bedroom with attached Bathroom:
- A bed frame and mattress (Single:190x90cm/Double:190x140cm)
- Pillow, Blanket, Linen, Bath Towel, Shower curtain
- Study Table and Chair
- 4 door wardrobe
- 1 Table lamp
- 1-2wall socket(s). You may need to bring your own extension cord if required
- One key (issued at the time of check in)
Lobby:
- Fully furnished lobby with TV and Satellite receiver
- Fully equipped shared kitchen
- Fully furnished Dining Area with TV and Satellite receiver
Checklist of Items to be submitted upon arrival:
- Payment receipts for the security deposit and prevailing residence charges
- Completed Application
- Health Status Declaration Form
- Legal Guardian Consent Form
- Copy of ZU Student ID
- Copies of passport and Emirates ID (submission within 30-days of entry into the UAE)
- Copy of medical insurance card (submission within 30-days of entry into the UAE)
Personal Items to be brought by the student:
- Additional Blanket/s, Pillow/s, Linen, Bath Towel
- Prescribed medications (As specified in the health declaration form)
- Season appropriate clothes, cloth hangers, slippers
- Toiletries and personal care items (body wash/bath soap, shampoo, toothbrush, tissues, sewing kit etc)
- Washing and cleaning supplies (detergent, softener, dishwash liquid etc)
NOTE:Crockeries and cutleries are provided as part of the welcome kit
Shared Items:
- Refrigerators
- Microwave and Kettle
- Iron and Ironing Board
- Electric Toaster and Blender
- Washing Machine & Dryers
Restricted Items:
- Burning Incense/Bukhoor
- Candles and/or any other inflammable items
- Pets
- Decorations
