Dr Zainab Taha’s research centers on maternal and child health, breastfeeding, and nutrition. She has extensively studied the socio-demographic and hospital-related determinants of breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and advanced maternal age. In addition, she has explored dietary interventions, obesity, chronic disease risk factors, and the bioactive properties of medicinal plants, bridging clinical nutrition and public health policy. Her international collaborations also address the impact of COVID-19 on nutrition, lifestyle, and food systems.
