Tim Daly


Tim DalyDr. Tim Daly is the Advisor to the Provost for Academic Planning and Excellence at Zayed University. Dr Daly earned his PhD in marketing and conflict management in 2010 from the University of Western Australia, an AACSB and EQUIS-accredited business school that is ranked #72 in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. Dr. Daly has been an associate professor of Marketing at ZU since 2017. During that time, he has served as Co-Chair of the Marking Program, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, and Acting Associate Dean. As Advisor to the Provost for Academic Planning and Excellence, he oversees the faculty hiring, workforce planning, and other faculty and planning initiatives across the University.

Before undertaking his doctoral studies Dr. Daly worked in the tourism and market research industries. Previous faculty roles include the University of Akron (USA), the University of Western Australia, and UAEU. Dr. Daly has published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Interactive Advertising, Assessment, and the Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology.

Dr Tim is an innovative and creative educator, winning the 2013 University of Western Australia Teaching Excellence Award. One tangible example of this is the ReviewAE digital marketing live project. This project has allowed 100’s of ZU students to experience working with real locally-owned business clients.
