Bryan Gilroy

Advisor to the Provost

Bryan Gilroy is a very experienced administrator. He has worked in Colombia, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE. He has held positions in industry as well as education. Bryan Gilroy has spent most of his career working at the tertiary level. He has held senior management positions in three universities: Bilkent University, Ankara (Turkey’s first private university); Sabanci University, Istanbul; and Zayed University, since in 2002.

Bryan Gilroy has an MSC in Linguistics from Colorado State University (USA) and an MBA in public sector management from Nottingham University School of Business (UK).

Bryan Gilroy is currently Advisor to the Provost, with special responsibility for Civic Social Responsibility. He is also overseeing Zayed University’s extensive support for Expo 2020.
