Accreditation & Substantial Equivalency

Overview

Zayed University is licensed and accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), which is the quality assurance and accreditation body of the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As a new and emerging nation, the UAE is also keen for the external validation that international accreditation provides. It shows that institutions and programs meet international standards of which the nation can be proud. Zayed University is at the vanguard of public institutions in the UAE through its commitment to both institutional and specialized accreditations. Zayed University is also independently accredited through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). This accreditation body is one of six regional accreditation bodies in the United States. At the disciplinary level, the College of Technological Innovation, College of Arts and Creative Enterprises, College of Communication and Media Sciences, College of Natural and Health Sciences, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences have all been accredited by their disciplinary accrediting bodies.
