The cooperation and exchange memorandum of understanding was announced and signed on November 18, 2009  between  Zayed University and the Beijing Foreign Studies University to promote mutual understanding, academic cooperation and development benefits. One of the significant points of the MOU is to establish a Confucius Institute at Zayed University.
