Online Teaching Software
Unless you are planning to deliver your teaching online through alternative means, please be informed that Blackboard and Adobe Connect are available to support your online teaching. All faculty members must have already obtained a laptop device with Adode Connect installed at the current stage.
Adobe Connect is a tool used by Faculty to manage their online distance teaching and learning sessions beside the blackboard system (LMS platform). In the event that remote session falls over, due to connectivity issue for example, you must have your Plan B ready to manage your remote session effectively.
Incase students miss a session, Faculty are requested during the live online session, to ask students to switch-off their cameras and mics, record the session, then post it on blackboard with a clear indication to the subject of study or the faculty sessions can be recorded in advance with the support of ITD/CEI
