CEI Support: The CEI will be providing the first level of pedagogical support to faculty. If the issue is technical then they will re-assign the calls to ITD team.

The CEI will continue offering individualized support via Adobe Connect online meetings. There are a range of online workshops planned for the next two weeks and beyond covering both synchronous (Adobe Connect) and asynchronous (Blackboard features) strategies. A schedule will be published via Campus Announcements.
Faculty should be aware that there may be technical and infrastructure problems as many users log in to the internet next week and the system comes under strain. Do not rely entirely on synchronous interaction but have asynchronous course tasks ready as well. Faculty all have access to the CEI Online Teaching Resource Library in the My Organization section on the main Blackboard page. This includes many resources, videos and suggestions to assist you in both types of online teaching.
