Dr. Anoud Bani-Hani is an active research Faculty and Academic Director of the NextGen Center at the College of Technological Innovation and the Chair of the Research Ethics committee at Zayed University. Dr Bani-Hani received her doctorate degree in Computer Science from from Loughborough University in UK, where she did an industrial base PhD. She also holds an MSc in Multimedia and internet computing from the same university. Prior to working at Zayed University, she worked as an ERP developer in a private company in UK and as a lecturer in Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST).  Anoud’s contributions to Zayed University has been recognized across the board, in research, teaching and learning and services. She has led on a number of research projects as the Principal Investigator and/or co-investigator, including the recent one on Fake news detection.

 

Anoud received the president award of employee’s excellence 2021 at Zayed University and a number of awards in recognition of her contributions to the University. She has been the academic leader in developing industrial partnerships with Microsoft, IBM, NXN, SAP.


Dr Bani-hani research interest includes ERP Implementation, Knowledge management in SMEs, Social network analysis, Cloud computing, Ontology and digital transformation.
