Bsc. Msc. PhD in Software Engineering
HDR (habilitation) in HCI and Human-Centric Software Engineering
Bio
Dr. Seffah is an established scholar in the field of HCI and Human-Centered Software Engineering, a term he coined in 2001 while pioneering the research in this field, developing the community, establishing 3 research labs in three countries as well as publishing 5 books and more than 200 papers in top HCI and software engineering academic journals, conference and magazines. He has been a tenured professor in Canada and Europe for 15 years while contributing to the design and accreditation of more than 10 programs including 2 PhD programs and 3 masters in HCI and software engineering. Since he joined Zayed University in 2018, he is developing further the WAM and MDD programs and creating the first HCI group and lab in UAE, the Zayed University Interactive Media Lab.
