Fuhaina received her bachelor’s degree in computer information system from Arizona State University, United States in 1996.  From 1997 to 2005 she was mainly involved in ERP implementation, and support, where her last role was as a senior application consultant with Hitachi Asia in Malaysia.  From 2007, she joined education field and has since been teaching undergraduates in different countries, including Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. She completed her master’s degree in information security from University of Technology Malaysia in 2011. Fuhaina teaches several courses on IT and information security. In the past, she actively engaged students in field trips and co-organized security forum in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police and Al Ain Municipality.  She also coordinated cyberwar game, (Red Team vs Blue team), for students, hosted by a guest security professional.  She joined Zayed University in 2019 as an instructor in the University College, before moving to College of Technological Innovation. Her main research interest includes Security threats in Unmanned Ariel Vehicles, Flawed Design in Aviation System and Ethics of AI.
