Bio

Aziz El Idrisi is a seasoned engineering and technology expert with a rich background spanning over three decades. Based in the United Arab Emirates, he holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Aziz furthered his studies with a postgraduate program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Washington and specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the University of Texas and MIT.

Throughout his career, Aziz has demonstrated a strong focus on innovation and practical application. He has contributed significantly as a faculty member, where he developed curricula, mentored student projects, and promoted initiatives like the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence applications. His industry experience includes pivotal roles such as Engineering Consultant at Diagnostic Ultrasound company in the US, where he led the development of a Mobile Internet-based 3D ultrasound imaging system, and VP of Engineering and Co-Founder at Data Critical Corp., where he was instrumental in the company's growth and telemedicine advancements.

Aziz’s expertise extends to a variety of fields, including artificial intelligence, software development signal processing, telemedicine, and product development.

He is recognized for his patented invention and has played a key role in several product launches and development projects. His career highlights include co-founding Data Critical Corp., managing successful hardware and software projects, collaborating with major industry players like GE and HP, and higher education.

In addition to his professional achievements, Aziz has a passion for aviation, holding a pilot license, and enjoys building drones and playing golf.
