CTI Participates in Gulf Cyber Security Forum in Qatar, Showcasing Student Research and Faculty Expertise

A team from CTI joined the UAE delegation at the Gulf Cyber ​​Security Forum (Capacity and Competency Building in Educational Cybersecurity) that was held in Qatar between 15 – 16 of Jan 2025. The forum was part of implementing the second initiative in the executive plan for digital transformation and cybersecurity. The two-day forum focused on several aspects, including legislation, promoting a culture of safe cybersecurity within the field of education, building competencies, enhancing defensive capabilities, and developing laws, policies, and regulations related to this field.

Four CTI students (Bashaer Aljneibi, Nada Naser, Mahra Alameri, and Roudha Alrais) presented their research posters at the forum, along with students from all Gulf countries. In the same forum, Dr. Hamda Al-Breiki from the CTI took part in the judging committee and presented a research paper during the forum.
