Bio
Yousef Nazzal earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from M.S. University of Baroda, India, and is currently the Chair of the Department of Life & Environmental Sciences at Zayed University, UAE. With over 30 years of experience, he has held various academic and administrative roles in institutions across the Middle East and North America, including Yarmouk University, King Saud University, and Abu Dhabi University. He has authored or co-authored over 120 papers in reputable international journals and led numerous funded research projects on topics such as contaminant transport, risk assessment, and wastewater treatment. Dr. Nazzal has taught various environmental science courses, contributed to curriculum development, and provided academic leadership to enhance student learning. He is experienced in project management, committee leadership, and developing environmental plans.
