Bio
Dr. Erlangga joined Zayed University in 2019. He received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, in 2005. He then was a postdoctoral fellow at TU Berlin, Germany, and The University of British Columbia, Canada. In 2009, he joined Mathematics Department, Alfaisal University, Saudi Arabia. From 2012-2019, he was a member of faculty in the Mathematics Department, Nazarbayev University, where he played an instrumental role in the development of the BS, MS, and PhD program in mathematics and applied mathematics.

Research interests include Krylov subspace methods, multilevel methods, nonlinear options pricing, and inverse properties of banded near-Toeplitz matrices.
